About the Journal

Aims and Scope

ISJ-Invertebrate Survival Journal is a peer-reviewed, on-line only and open access journal published by the University of Modena and Reggio Emilia devoted to basic and applied studies on the development, evolution and biology of immune-related mechanisms in invertebrates. A special interest is reserved to the studies aiming at biotechnological solutions against invertebrate-derived damages to human health and economy.

Beside Research Reports and Reviews, contributions in the format of Short Communications, Technical Reports, Minireviews and Visions and Perspectives are also considered for publication. Proceedings from national and international congresses, meetings and workshops, focused on topics in line with the Aims and Scope of the Journal, will be eligible for publication as Reports of Meetings. Exceptionally, Letters to the Editor can be considered as commentaries about data previously published in ISJ-Invertebrate Survival Journal.


Open Access Policy

This journal provides immediate open access to its content on the principle that making research freely available to the public supports a greater global exchange of knowledge. It releases its article under the terms of Creative Commons Attribution 4.0 International License. This license allows anyone to download, reuse, re-print, modify, distribute and/or copy the contributions. The works must be properly attributed to its author(s). Authors who publish on this journal mantiain the copyrights.
